As I got ready for work this morning, I heard Ariel crying "Mommy!" So I went in to get her up.
"What is it, Ariel? Did you call me? What do you need?"
"Uh... Daddy?"
"Daddy's at work."
"Uh wuh wuh home?"
"He'll be home later, sweetie."
"Uh wuh wuh wuh soon?"
Neither of us are much liking his absence. We've been pretty spoiled. Dan's school schedule has allowed him to be home much of the day some days, and never gone for 9 straight hours. Now that class is out for Christmas break and he's working full-time, there are two lonely girls pining for him back home.
